Notes
Well produced history of the former famous limb of the University of London. Wye College was still flourishing as a centre of agricultural excellence when this centenary history was published in 1994, but by 2005 its courses had been withdrawn by Imperial College, London, with whom it had merged. Having failed in its plan to develop the land for building 4,000 house, Imperial closed Wye College completely in 1909. Stewart Richards taught agricultural history and biological ethics at Wye.
