4to. 11.5 x 9 inches. 132 pp. + xx pp. advertisements. Bound in original green cloth, gilt. Some stains on boards and light foxing of flyleaves and half title, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white, including photographs and plans. Decorated by half title and title page vignettes. 1950 signature on first free endpaper. Studies of house interiors, furniture, hangings, utensils, etc. Decorative Art was published by The Studio under that title, 1926-1960-61. It was previously entitled 'The Studio' Year-Book of Decorative Arts, 1906-25 and became Decorative Art in (later and) Modern Interiors, 1962-74.
