Biography of Dr John Dee (1527-1608), scientist, philosopher, astronomer, astrologer and occultist, who attended the court of Queen Elizabeth, and based on his secret diaries. It provides an account of his 1580s travels to Eastern Europe, including Poland and Prague where he had an audience with the Holy Roman Emperor, Rudolf II.
