Ex-library copy (Borough of Folkestone Reference Library with label and stamps. Loosely inserted: Press cutting of 1921 and 1794 manuscript press extract with further on recto of second free endpaper/ colophon page. Occasional pencil marginal notes. Illustrated by 47 pages of black and white plates, including photographs and facsimiles, and frontispiece, by text figures, tables, and folding genealogical table. Decorated by the publisher's device of royal arms on title page. Well illustrated and comprehensive history of Kent county cricket from 1705 until the time of writing, with a full set of statistics. Appendix E of 1910 has been bound in with additional statistics for 1907-09. Edited by Lord Harris (1851-1932), conservative politician and colonial administrator, who served as captain of Kent, 1878-84.
