Illustrated by 32 colour plates paginated in text, including frontispiece, by numerous black and white photographs and by 2 pages of maps. Well illustrated survey of the Greek Islands divided into seven groups, by Lawrence Durrell (1912-90), novelist, poet and travel writer. In 1935 he moved with members of the Durrell family to Corfu. Reprint of the first edition of 1978.
