Notes
The smaller format second issue. This was only the third 'Road Book' to be issued, which makes the first edition very hard to find. Harper was only just winning his readership at the time and the print run was probably quite small. The work is the usual charming and informative Harper style, a mix of history, legend, and topographical detail.
