TWO VOLUMES. 4to. 11.25 x 8 inches. Unpaginated. Part 1, [214] pp; Part 2, [170] pp. Bound in original green cloth, gilt, with decorative blocks on front boards. Loosely inset in both vols. Prices and Buyer's Names, [4] pp. folding each. A very good set. Illustrated by 2 colour frontispieces, folding plate (Part 1) and throughout by facsimiles, including one in colour. Pictorial endpapers. The two published catalogues of the sale of the Horblit Library collection by Sotheby's in 1974. Harrison David Horblit (1912-88), philanthropist, book, manuscript and photographic collector, graduated from Harvard in 1933 and later became a textile executive. His photographic collection was donated to the Houghton Library at Harvard and opened to the public in 1999. No further volumes of this Sotheby catalogue ere published.
