4to, in eights. 8 x 11 inches. 223+ [1] pp. + 192 pp. Bound in original blue cloth with gilt and black titles gilt, and block of B?sig Castle on front board. A little wear to extremities, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by map and by numerous engravings in text, with some by Walter Crane, and many whole page, including frontispiece and title page and endpiece vignettes. Well illustrated account of Bohemia, part of a series for the Religious Tract Society. James Baker, F.R.H.S., F.R.G.S. (1847-1920) was a novelist and travel writer, with a particular interest in Bohemia. Includes drawings from the artist and book illustrator, Walter Crane (1845-1915).
