Notes
The work was published in a number of editions, and subsequently expanded into a full length book, throughout the nineteenth century, with the earliest recorded being from Burslem about 1800, printed by John Tregortha, who was probably also the compiler. He was a Methodist preacher, later publisher, from Staffordshire who died about 1821. This York imprint of about 1810 is scarce and only the British Library copy is recorded by COPAC.
