Rare and lovely, early guide book to indoor aquariums, which became a growing fascination during the mid-Victorian period. With chapters on algaes and seaweeds, fishes, molluscs, crustacea, annelids, starfish, sea anemones, insects for both fresh abd salt water tanks. Spine repaired and wear to edges but otherwise a good copy.
