Bound in original maroon cloth, gilt; front board gilt block of hunting scene over blind stamped jungle background. All edges gilt. Spine sunned and extremities a little worn. Lower right hand edge of first free endpaper missing,neatly repaired tears to foot of frontispiece, title page and first page of preface and to foot of pp.147-8, without affecting legibility of text; otherwise a good copy with a nice bright front board. 1887 inscription on verso of first free endpaper.
