Watercolour on paper, 8 x 5 inches, mounted in conservation materials and framed and glazed in an attractive gilt moulding. Overall size 17 x 15 inches. Attractive unsigned original watercolour, we look past a group of cattle from the hills behind Folkestone, down the undeveloped Ford valley through the recently completed viaduct to the town and sea beyond. A charming and well conceived view of the town by an unknown hand, but whoever painted this was probabley not an amateur.
